Valencia Awaits

After a long off-season the 2010 European Open F3 Championship gets started this weekend, 16-18 April, with the team heading off to the sunny climes of Valencia.

Callum Macleod will be upholding team honour and will be a favourite, returning in the latest model Dallara having dominated in the Copa class for the team last year.

Also returning to the team will be Kristjan Einar, The Icelander, who will be bidding for the team’s third Copa crown in four seasons.
Kristjan took part in 75% of the races last year with Team West-Tec with a best result of third place at Donington Park.

This will also be the first race meeting with the cars officially entered by Motul Team-West-Tec in recognition of the extended sponsorship agreement between the two, and with the cars looking resplendent in their revised 2010 European livery.

Gavin Wills, Co-Team Principal: We are delighted to welcome both Callum and Kristjan back. Both should be very fast and we are certainly targeting the highest results possible.

John Miller, Co-Team Principal: At this meeting we will just concentrate on the two cars, although we hope to be back to a full three car line up from the second race weekend, in Jarama in June.
